Nice work Phillip and yes we do lose money every year!

Post a video and get into the Adobe MAX Keynote! I am also working on getting 3 MAX passes for the best videos submitted.

    Thanks for posting...

Yeah, I "lose" money too every time I invest in things. The point I was trying to make was simply that you (plural) make it sound like it's some kind of charity that you're doing. Don't get me wrong--I like MAX and find it a value. But, when I hear the repeated line about how you all lose money, I just can't resist pointing out that you actually MAKE money indirectly! If not, please inform your shareholders.

By the way, here's another video that recycles the same basic message... though I like the "frugal businessman" one better:

Oh, and one more MAX vid:

    Phillip,

MAX is a professional designer/developer conference. We try to focus on making the quality the best possible for our attendees. MAX costs over $10M for US/Europe/Japan but I guess the term loss depends on your perspective. To those inside the company we try to spend less and provide more value, to those outside the company we are seen as "Frugal".

Personally I wish we could reach a more people with MAX without any costs. I have tried for the past 3 years to record MAX and deliver all the sessions online and this year we look to have accomplished this.

Keep on keeping it real Phillip. The videos rock!

One tiny thing... I try to be extreme in the videos and not always 100% accurate. The truth can sting, but I don't want anyone to think my comments or videos are anything more than what they are.

What's super surprising to me is that despite my best efforts to offend people, barely anyone has ever taken offense to these videos--including you and Adobe.

    Hilarious :)

First time I've laughed at one of Phillips videos.

He's getting better i'll give him that! :)

Phillip, If we can't laugh at ourselves and have some fun, then we need to be doing something else. Please never stop making videos, they keep us honest, entertained, and real.

Oh BTW, in the Adobe San Jose office floor 14 East tower there are wanted posters with all your video identities. I will get the wanted poster and post it for ya. It is a good laugh.

Thanks for being a passionate customer! Oh BTW, MAX is on us this year for you and yes even these videos will be in the keynote.

    Ted :)

"MossyBlog" you either have no sense of humor or you haven't seen all my vids!

Oh, let me thank you Ted for the free ticket to MAX! I appreciate it. Though, NOW you'll lose money!

@Scott Barnes: That was this first of the series that made you laugh? As a ghost writer for Phillip I take umbrage!
