Yesterday was not the best day for my blog as I made two very large mistakes. As you are probably aware things are moving at an ever faster pace at Adobe and in the RIA marketplace. I am clearly not perfect and try my very best to communicate clearly and get the details of what I blog as correct as possible with the deepest respect to the partners we work with.Ted on Twitter - @AdobeTed
Ted on Adobe Groups
Ted on LinkedIn
Ted on Facebook
Ted at Adobe
Why send email to you, but not your back? I sent to ted@adobe.com
I think that on the whole it was a great day for your blog! You posted two very insightful articles.
I agree with Ben A., Ted. I read you every day and appreciate all your work.
Me too!
Everyone makes mistakes!
And lets be honest I think this December month is the most crazy of all new media history. Everyday new stuff is being launched, Adobe making lots of big improvements and releases, lots of cool RIAs being launched, APIs being offered....
And here, in your blog, we get the best news and keep updated. You made mistakes, and you try to improve...so you are a great professional!!! Keep on doing your stuff! I am here cheking it everyday!
This is definitely a great blog. Keep it up!
Ted,
I think the Yahoo move is related to mobil devices. After all, very few of us do planning beforehand, or before we get lost. I use gmap instead of yahoo on my mobile devices because of lack of flash 9 but presence of old html. As a matter of fact I do prototypes in Flex but have to do subversions in AJAX and Java. So - we moved on - but the world has not. The more aggressive Adobe becomes with mobile OEM, the sooner we will have consumer RIA in Flash.
Regards,
Anatole
I have to agree anatole!
Once per week, I am fighting for Flex, or at least for Flex combined with AJAX (sometimes without any success).
It is quite annoying!
But i do it everytime with a smile, cause it IS the future and it has to be, doesn't it?
I'm totally agree with others guys, Ted!
Ted, you rock!!
Well, well, well Mr Ted... The Sith greatly frown upon mistakes. Often we've fed a storm trooper or two to a Panna Monster for merely being late to a staff meeting by a minute.
Some of our more diligent execute staff members of the Sith felt that earth probably needed to be destroyed (there was a standing order to position Death Star #7 on Earth), but I overruled it...
Ted, your dedication in general has been outstanding, and the Galactic Empire appreciates it greatly. Our EMS (Empire Management System) has never been better as a result of Flex, AIR... and we look forward to Thermo.
As a result, blowing up earth would not be in our interest (for now...)
