Inspired by this weeks stock market drops, and the "taking 3-d objects and putting them in 3-d space", this game challenges you to get to click to the bottom with as few clicks as possible, and as fast as possible. Click wrong, and you go back to the start! Later game levels introduce a bigger stack, and various motions of the objects to confuse you. Can you click your way to the bottom!

A dancing yeti with inverse kinematic animation, and hopefully dynamic inverse kinematics controlled via webcam. Also, dynamic sound generation with creepy circus "music" and some pixel blender stuff. The Kitchen Sink team consisted of: Dennis Ramsey, Don-Duong Quach, James Young, Kenneth Arehart, Margarita Tijerino & Pedro Chavez. The team was formed on the day of FlashCamp!

This morning at 3AM Adobe MAX North America got the 4,000th registration. We have seen a surge in registrations over the past week and are seeing about 90 registrations per day. MAX NA is really shaping up to be a great event and we are on track to break 5000 registrations in San Francisco. At MAX last year we hit 4300 onsite in Chicago but we are well on track hit that number with 18 days til MAX NA.

This is an extension that combines multiple textfields into one editable textfield while retaining individual style properties. This will allow textfields to be recombined, once broken, in XFL documents for easy editing. It allows for different orientations to work with mult-lingual support, as well as allowing a custom separator.

Congratulations to Mitch Grasso and his team at SlideRocket on their launch. SlideRocket is an amazing app and when I first saw the early prototype at Adobe preceding the first AIRCamp in San Francisco, I knew this was something different. That evening Mitch took me on the inside tour of the app showing some features in development in Flex Builder 2 and just taking a look at the codebase it stood out. Just seeing where he was in development part time was impressive.

I started working at Adobe just before Flash Player 9 was released and it has been a real workhorse changing an entire industry. FP9 enabled Flex 2, introduced ActionScript 3, new API's, a radically new event model, and jittification( if there is such a thing). Flash Player 9 you had a great run but like all good things they must end. I wish you a fond farewell, you were a great player but we need something new.

Every 18 months we run into the same problem when a new version of the Flash Player is released, detection scripts. I have been working with Flash Player 10 and there are many sites who are only detecting for Flash Player 9 and when you have 10 installed, you see nothing. This is a pretty old problem but there is a solution to it and it makes your life much easier.

In anticipation of the launch of Flash Player 10, I am now officially blogging at onFlash.org. At the end of the day whenever you develop with Flash CS3/CS4, Flex 2/3/4 or "Thermo" tools and frameworks you are targeting Flash Player in the browser or Flash Player within AIR, and soon Flash Player and AIR on devices. The key is that Flash is a platform and more and more we are seeing that platform grow in capability and reach. Changing my domain name to onFlash.org is about focusing on Flash as a platform.
