DIGG IT! Microsoft has released Beta 1 of IronPython for .NET. Write .NET applications using Python but generate MSIL and .NET binaries both statically and dynamically. Performance is much faster than C Python with full .NET framework and Avalon access.

For a Python junkie, looks like I have to give MS allot of credit here for investing in development of IronPython.
