... and I can't download Eclipse Plugin (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flex_eclipse&loc=en_us) because it's a broken link. Good start for good product!

There are two links on Flex 3 distribs:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=flex3email - size of package 169MB

    and

    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flex - size of package 392MB

which of them is correct? Why they are different?
Also I have downloaded 392MB package and it isn't installing on Mac OS 10.5.2 (Leopard).

    Love you guys....

Works like a charm. Only compilations of applications with multiple projects still take way too long. But apart from that: just perfect!

I ordered it and the serial number says "Contact Customer Service" and the customer service link in the email I received goes to a page that doesn't exist... help!

Anyone got any idea where to find the release notes??? I see lots of documents, none of which are the release notes though. :(

  14. # Blogger Nate

Apparently there's an issue with the serial number generation. I haven't received mine yet either. My co-worker called Adobe and they indicated it might take an hour or so for it to show up.

Any word on if they are issuing serials yet? Do you know if your serial will work with both Mac and Windows? I usually use my macbook when on the road but at work Im forced to use a windows box :(

I don't understand the upgrade pricing. I would like to upgrade from FB2 > FB3 standard and maybe upgrade to professional sometime in the future. But for some reason that would cost me alot more money than upgrading directly to fB3 Pro... Why does it cost more mony to upgrade from FB3 > FB3 Pro than it does to go FB2 > FB3 Pro .. That seems very strange to me.

I finally got my serial number late last night, approx. 24 hours from when I ordered it.

And yes Anonymous, when you go to download FB3, it says you can install it on either Windows or Mac and switch anytime. :-)

    Ted,

    Great job on Fl3!
I'd love your take on when the regular edition or the Pro edition is more appropriate. What are the main differences. (For the record I am an experience designer with AS3 skills)
