Adobe Flex, Super Bowl XLII, and FireBrand.com

DIGG IT!     6 Comments Published Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 10:01 AM .

It seems that FireBrand.com is hosting an Adobe Flex application that will showcase a majority of the upcoming Super Bowl XLII advertisements using Flash Player and HD Video. The site allows you to watch all the videos end to end by brand using a great UI. The application is a great RIA and makes it easy to re-watch any of the commercials that you might miss during Super Bowl.

Looks like a great use of Adobe Flex!

Go Adobe Flex!
Go Adobe Flash Player!

Cheers,

Ted :)

Ted, You should check out the patriots site on game day. Although it's not using Flex, it is using 6 different cameras for different points of view to show the game. Some great work by GetFused Inc. and their team.

GetFused is actually using flash streaming server 2 to stream the site

    And ColdFusion I might add.

wow, Firebrand site is pretty slick with seemingly complex relationships at work. not your typical video site.
i wonder who did the site? anyone here know? doesn't say on the site itself....

Do you know if they've secured intellectual property rights from the creators?

(If it's an authorized ad-republisher then it's more likely to stay online than if they're just digitizing the ads from their screen.)
