Flex Directory 1.0.1

I worked on the Flex Directory this weekend and we had a soft launch on Sunday with a few API problems. I posted a new build of the Flex Directory at directory.onflex.org this morning which addresses the problems. The site is fully functional now and is now correctly processing new listings and referrals.

Flex Directory

The directory has gone live with a trimmed feature set for the initial release. Given the interest in the directory from partners, consulting firms, and projects searching for consultants, it was best to get this out in an early form and build up the listings before adding advanced features. In many ways a simple list covers the 80% use case.

I will now be officially depricating my "Top Flex Firms" list and directing all that traffic to the Flex Directory. Once we get this sufficiently populated with consultanting companies it will graduate to Flex.org.

Regards,

Ted :)

I also don't see a place to indicate status as an Adobe Partner

When a listing is approved I confirm partner status so it is accurate.

I will add that to the form.

Would it be a good idea to provide some room for the company description as well. That'll help companies to sum up their Flex business/offering/capacity etc. in the same place.

Descriptions will be supported moving forward along with image showcases.

Cynergy has 59 developers... Quite a decent army..

Are they all working on Flex related projects? Or is that column just an indication of the company's size?

I had the same question. I listed 12 Flex developers, but all around we have over 40.

I was just at a BEA / Adobe seminar in which they presented Flex and they demoed a copy of the Insurance claims application where you can actually provide a diagram of the accident scene.

Is this Flex application available anywhere as a sample app.
