I will be demoing the Flash/Flex Integration Kit at the FITC Keynote. I think it is one of the best additions to the Flex toolset and bridges the gap between the 2 development paradigms for SWF files. Flash developers can add tremendous value to Flex in component creation and they hold the keys to adding the WOW into Flex applications. The Flex/Flash Integration kit was created to close the workflow gap in allowing Flash CS3 to extend Flex 2 at the component level.

Ted, this is really great! When's your session slotted?
This is awesome ted - I hope it includes support for remoting and web services as right now flash cs3 has 0 support for this.
Wow! This looks great. Exactly what Flex needs, better integration with design tools! Can't wait to see you show it off. Anyway, see you this weekend.
@kristin You can see the schedule for the event here:

Looks like Ted's on at 2:30 on Sunday.
Have you guys had any luck with the currentStateChange and the Flex/Flash integration kit? It seems to fire immediately instead of when the transition to the :end frame is done playing.
Hello Ted,
Where is this Flex/Flash Integration kot donwloadable?
Tks a lot
Hi Ted, I wish I could make Max to see this one. Unfortunately, the conference is scheduled at the same time as SAP TechEd this year.
I watched the screencast of this and it looks great. (unfortunately, if I try to open this now I get a memory error and my browser crashes whether in firefox, ie, or safari) https://admin.adobe.acrobat.com/_a300965365/p75214263/
Anyway, will this be a separate download or will it be included either in CS3, Flex, or both? Also, do you have any ideas of when it may become available?
Thanks!
