MAXUP - The Community Track at MAX 2006

DIGG IT!     3 Comments Published Friday, September 08, 2006 at 12:23 PM .

MAXUP is an open community-driven "BarCamp" style track at MAX 2006. MAXUP will be center stage at MAX in the Community Lounge. I will be leading MAXUP during MAX 2006 with Chafic Kazoun, Raymond Camden, Ryan Stewart, Ed Sullivan, Dave Wolf, Danny Dura, and others.

Here is the plan:

Anyone at MAX 2006 can participate in MAXUP!!!

Types of Presentations at MAXUP:

- 5 Minute Showcase of your Application/Site/Service.
- Technology presentations.
- Tutorials/Workshops
- Technology Panels
- Meet the Engineers
- Adobe Community Meetings
- Technologies: Web/Flex/Flash/Apollo/ColdFusion/Other

The MAXUP committee will be formalizing MAXUP scheduling.

More to come!

Regards,

Ted :)

If you post your app that you plan to demo at MAX on your blog, and comment about it on this blog - http://blogs.adobe.com/imho/2006/09/we_demo_you_goi.html
then you might get a cool 10GB iRiver.

Hey Ben, you say, "its the UI, controls and functionality that we want to see". Does this mean cool ColdFusion may not be appropriate? By that I mean - someone may be working on something very cool, but hasn't had a chance yet to put a pretty skin on it.
