Flash 8 Hidden Feature - Timeline Toolbar Positioning

In Flash 8 with an FLA open, press SHIFT + ALT and Double-Click on the Timeline ToolBar (Above the timeline, below the FLA Tab). The toolbar will move adjacent to the stage allowing you quick access to the Stage or Scene settings.

Follow the exact same steps to return the toolbar to its original position. Special thanks to Flash engineering for sneaking this jem in!

Cheers,

Ted :)

Thanks for pointing this out, Ted. I never liked having the zoom% pull-down menu over the timeline - it makes more sense to have it over the stage.

It seems that this "feature" is not so new and was included in MX2004. Not sure who originally pointed this one out. Just highlighting for posterity.

    Ted :)
