Not sure if you have seen these links. Microsoft sure gets the experience value of Flash.

Both are excellent sites. The interesting thing is that these are the primary consumer facing sites for Microsoft's top consumer products XP and XBox.

I hope that we're not starting to label all interactive Web sites as "RIA"s now.

Agreed, there is definitely a lack of "A". Although the definition of RIA gets fuzzy here, the two examples are defitiely not plain vanilla sites. They are clearly interactive, you can drill into the information, and it is an expierience unlike HTML.
A better question to ask is what does RIA mean to you?
